Trip Planning
Full Day Fishing Trip
An eight-hour guided day for guests who want maximum time on the water. The final cost may increase for specialized musky equipment, larger winter groups, or trip-specific bait and setup needs.

The trip built around the full fishing day
A full day gives us the freedom to follow the best window instead of watching the clock. It is the right package for committed anglers, groups traveling specifically to fish, and anyone who wants time to work a pattern thoroughly from the first cast to the final move.
For musky, the day is dedicated entirely to musky fishing and should be planned ahead so specialized rods, reels, large landing net, and oversized lures are ready. Winter groups can be larger—typically 10 to 15 guests—when we build the day around a fully outfitted ice-fishing setup.
LOCAL GUIDE NOTES
Planning a day on the Northwoods water
Every trip is shaped around the season, the fish we’re after, and the people in the boat. Heindls Fishtails Guide Service works the waters around Minocqua, Rhinelander, St. Germain, Eagle River, and the surrounding Northwoods—whether you’re chasing a first fish with the family, dialing in a summer walleye bite, or settling into a warm day on the ice.
Have a question about timing, licenses, gear, weather, or what to bring? Reach out before your trip. A quick conversation helps us set up the right plan and gives everyone a better day on the water.
