Trip Planning
Half Day Fishing Trip
A four-hour guided outing for families, younger anglers, and first-timers. Base price includes two anglers; add up to two summer anglers for $50 per person. Live bait, when needed, is purchased separately.

A relaxed first step onto the water
The half-day trip is paced around comfort, curiosity, and a manageable window on the water. It is especially well-suited to families with younger anglers, visitors fitting fishing around a Northwoods getaway, and anyone who wants a guide beside them for their first real day of fishing.
Your base price includes two anglers. During summer trips, up to two additional anglers may join for $50 per person. Bring beverages, snacks, a license, and weather-appropriate layers; live bait is purchased separately when the day calls for it.
LOCAL GUIDE NOTES
Planning a day on the Northwoods water
Every trip is shaped around the season, the fish we’re after, and the people in the boat. Heindls Fishtails Guide Service works the waters around Minocqua, Rhinelander, St. Germain, Eagle River, and the surrounding Northwoods—whether you’re chasing a first fish with the family, dialing in a summer walleye bite, or settling into a warm day on the ice.
Have a question about timing, licenses, gear, weather, or what to bring? Reach out before your trip. A quick conversation helps us set up the right plan and gives everyone a better day on the water.
